5-Day Programme in People Management

Next Intake (July 17th to 21st, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM 2023)

This 5-day course aims to equip pastors with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage and lead their congregation and staff. The curriculum covers key areas such as interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, team building, and pastoral care. Participants will engage in interactive activities and group discussions to enhance their learning experience and will be provided with practical tools to apply in their ministerial context.

AIMS

1. To help pastors develop strong people management skills.
2. To enhance pastors’ understanding of interpersonal dynamics and pastoral care.
3. To provide practical tools and strategies for leading and managing people in a church setting.

OBJECTIVES

1. Understand the importance of empathy, active listening, and effective communication in pastoral leadership.
2. Learn how to resolve conflicts and manage difficult situations.
3. Develop strategies for building strong, cohesive teams.
4. Understand the role of pastoral care in people management.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Apply effective people management skills in their ministry setting.
2. Demonstrate improved interpersonal communication and active listening.
3. Resolve conflicts and manage difficult situations with wisdom and grace.
4. Build strong, cohesive teams within their congregation and staff.
5. Provide pastoral care that fosters growth and spiritual development.
