5-Day Programme in Public Relations

This 5-day course aims to equip pastors with essential public relations skills to effectively communicate their church’s message, build strong relationships with their congregations and the community, and handle challenging situations with grace. The course covers various aspects of public relations, from media relations to crisis management, enabling pastors to excel in their roles as spiritual leaders.

AIMS

1. To develop a comprehensive understanding of public relations in a pastoral context.
2. To enhance pastors’ communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
3. To provide strategies for managing and mitigating crises within the church and community.

OBJECTIVES

1. Understand the role of public relations in ministry.
2. Develop and implement effective communication strategies.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with congregation members, media, and the community.
4. Handle difficult situations and crises with diplomacy and grace.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Define public relations and its importance in pastoral ministry.
2. Develop engaging messages and content tailored to different audiences.
3. Utilize various communication channels effectively.
4. Manage and resolve conflicts within the congregation and the community.
5. Implement crisis management strategies to protect the reputation of the church.
