Residency Programme

The Joshua Leadership Residency Programme is a one-year comprehensive ministry training initiative designed to nurture, empower, inspire, and prepare the next generation of dedicated pastoral leaders who are eager for revival, yearn for righteousness, and are committed to serving the Lord Jesus wholeheartedly. Fully funded by the Theological Education and Mission Centre (TEAM), this programme targets individuals under 30 with a strong interest in ministry and unwavering dedication to Jesus.
AIMS
– Deliver an all-encompassing training programme in spiritual formation, biblical studies, pastoral ministry, and mission work for young pastoral leaders.
– Prepare the future generation of pastoral leaders with essential skills and knowledge for effective service in local churches and mission fields.
– Cultivate a profound devotion to Jesus and a zeal for revival and righteousness among young pastoral leaders.
– Empower young pastoral leaders to be agents of transformation in their communities and globally.
OBJECTIVES
– Enhance the spiritual lives of young pastoral leaders through purposeful discipleship, prayer, and worship.
– Foster a deep comprehension of the Scriptures and their application in pastoral ministry and mission work.
– Equip young pastoral leaders with necessary skills and knowledge for successful leadership and service in local churches.
– Develop cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity in young pastoral leaders in preparation for mission work.
– Offer hands-on experience and practical training in pastoral ministry and mission work.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
– A heightened devotion to Jesus and enthusiasm for revival and righteousness.
– A solid foundation in biblical studies, with the ability to apply them in pastoral ministry and mission work.
– Comprehensive understanding of pastoral ministry and the capacity to effectively lead and serve local churches.

COURSE CONTENT
The Joshua Leadership Residency Programme is a one-year course divided into four quarters, each focusing on specific learning objectives.
Quarter 1: Spiritual Formation and Discipleship

Quarter 2: Biblical Studies
– Old Testament Overview

Quarter 3: Pastoral Ministry

– Church administration and leadership

Quarter 4: Mission Work
